What was your first car?
1965 Porsche 356 SC

What has been your favourite car that you’ve owned?
1965 Porsche 356 SC. I owned five through the years. I also owned a 1963 356 B (2-litre 4 Cam), but it wasn’t my favorite. Great straight line speed but wouldn’t go around a corner. The 904 engine was too heavy for the 356 chassis.

What car do you most regret selling?
1962 Ferrari 250 GTO

What is your dream 3 car garage?
Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, Aston Martin DBR1

Why did you become a patron of Hangar 136?
Hanger 136 came to me at the behest of Tomas de Vargas Machuca of HERO and ERA fame and inquired if I would be the face of the organization in the United States. I am flattered Tomas thought I would be a good fit but I do have considerable experience buying and selling vintage cars there for both street and racing. It gave me a chance to cull through the archives and relive those great moments behind the wheel. So why not? There’s always room for a quality organization of the type Hanger 136 purports to be.
