THE MODEL
  • The Ferrari 360 was the successor the Ferrari F355, and was produced from 1999 until 2005, when it was replaced by the F430.
  • During this production run, Ferrari produced three distinct versions of the 360: the Modena (a coupe styled car which ran from 1999-2005), a Spider (a convertible styled car running from 2001-2005) and finally the Challenge Stradale (a high-performance track focused version of the Modena).
  • Being an all new design from the ground up, the Pininfarina styled body moved away from Ferrari’s design traditions of old. The new car was featured smooth, rounded lines, and despite being 10% bigger in overall dimensions, the 360 was 28% lighter than the F355.
  • An all new 3.6-litre V8 was developed for the car, featuring a flat-plane crankshaft and titanium connecting rods.
  • The result of this was an engine that now propelled the car from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, and onward to a top speed of 177 mph.
  • Two transmission options were available: the “F1” electrohydraulic-actuated system, or a 6-speed gated manual transmission.
  • In all, a total of over 17,000 Ferrari 360’s were produced worldwide, with only 6,000 of these being specified with the 6-speed Manual gearbox.
  • Rarer still were those cars that were delivered new the UK, of which only 352 examples featured the manual gearbox.
This Car
  • This Ferrari 360 Modena is presented here in the incredibly rare colour combination of Verde Zeltweg over Beige leather.
  • 1 of 352 UK supplied RHD cars with the 6-speed manual transmission, with additional factory options of CD changer, ‘Challenge’ style front grille, extended leather headliner & green stitching.
  • The car also benefits from a stainless-steel Capristo exhaust system that (and we can tell you this from first-hand experience!) certainly helps to amplify the sound of its naturally aspirated V8.
  • Substantial service history with service visits listed at the following:
