We started Hangar 136 because we couldn't find the kind of dealership we actually wanted to buy from. So we built it.
HOW IT STARTED
A tatty old Series 3, if we're honest. Not exactly the glamorous start you might imagine. But it sold to someone who drove it straight to France that weekend — and that felt like exactly the right beginning.
Hangar 136 was founded by Oli and Laurence in 2021. Between us we've spent more time than is probably healthy thinking about classic cars. At some point it made sense to do something about it.
We've grown every year since, and the cars have got a little more special along the way. Most of what we sell is consigned — brought to us by owners who want their car in the right hands. We take that responsibility seriously.
WHERE YOU'LL FIND US
We're based at Bicester Heritage — a former RAF station in Oxfordshire that's become one of the most interesting places in the classic car world. It's hard to think of a better address for what we do.
Our neighbours include some of the finest restorers, specialists and enthusiasts in the country. The runway gets used on Scramble days. The atmosphere on a busy weekend is genuinely unlike anywhere else.
Come and find us. There's usually something interesting in the hangar.
OUR PARTNERS
We work closely with Hero-Era, one of Europe's leading organisers of historic rallying and adventure driving events. Many of the cars we represent have Hero-Era histories, and we share a passion for driving these machines as they were intended — on the open road.
