1977 MGB Roadster, developed with historic rallying in mind.
Forming part of Hero ERA’s “Arrive & Drive” fleet, the car was purchased by them in 2018.

Under there ownership the car has been used on many different events, and adapted along the way to be a reliable rally car.

Listed below are some of the key points along the timeline of what work has been undertaken:

• 09/2024 – New Battery
• 05/2024 – Electrical Overhaul
• 03/2024 – New Alternator
• 04/2023 – New Wiring Loom
• 11/2022 – Rear Shock Link Rod, Front Anti Roll Bars, Front Brake Callipers/Pads & Brake Fluid Change
• 06/2022 – Front Shocks, Rear Drop Links, Exhaust Gaskets, Engine Mount & Prop Shaft
• 02/2022 – Stainless Exhaust System, Steering Rack, Heater Hoses, Rear Wheel Cylinder, Repair Floor NSF, Replace Oil Cooler Pipes, Change Oil/Filter, Front Brake Hoses, Replace Coolant Radiator & Replace Corroded Oil Cooler
• 12/2019 – Rust Repairs, Chassis Repairs & Body Strengthening (Approx £6000)
  09/2018 – New Clutch, Master Cylinder, Servo Unit, Front & Rear Springs/Shocks, Spot Lamps, Trip Meter, Isolator Switch & Tow Strap
  

Prior to the new owner taking delivery, there will be a full fluid service carried out.

While every effort is made to ensure our historic rally cars are prepared to a high standard, buyers should appreciate that these are competition vehicles. By their very nature, participation in historic rallying places unique demands on both mechanical and electrical systems, and faults can arise despite thorough preparation. Prospective buyers should therefore budget for ongoing maintenance, recommissioning, and event preparation costs as an expected part of ownership.
