ABOUT THIS CAR

Possibly the best long distance rally prepared car we have offered to date.

Tried and tested across 3 Peking to Paris Motor Challenges, and the finished result is an incredibly capable and reliable car indeed.

Under it’s previous ownership, when the car was originally Grey, was the first P2P that the car had entered, and it’s owner reported that they had a fair few problems during the event.

Current ownership came about after P2P 2016, with a view to develop the car using the past notes to complete the P2P 2019, and after spending £52,000 that was exactly what they achieved – finishing 22nd out of 106 cars that entered.

After a successful rally, the car was very briefly sold to a new owner. However, with a desire to further develop the car to be more competitive and place even better on another long distance event, the current owners bought the car back!

Next on there rally calendar was the Transamerica rally in 2023, which sadly had to be cancelled, however that left only one other option… P2P 2024.

With the experience of the past rally and now knowing the car better than ever, work commenced once more. However this time, absolutely no stone was left unturned with a whopping £108,000 being spent, and we are pleased to report that it was money very well spent indeed – securing them 8th place overall and also achieving a gold medal.

Upon returning from this years event, the time had come to part ways with the car, affectionally named “Eleanor”. DT Vintage were instructed to do a post rally prep ahead of marketing the car and completed the following work:
